masks
I just got off a call with @apiontkovski who stressed the immediate urgency of mask production, hence this new issue.
I noted that we're looking at melt-spinning (@zfredin) and electro-spinning (@Tourlomousis) to make filter media, and are also looking at testing existing materials (@camblackburn):

So a key question will be how much filtration is needed how quickly to be useful. Alex reaching out to add an infectious disease expert to advise.
We should fork into sourcing candidate filter media, testing filter media, and forming to make good seals. I wonder about using three-axis 3D printing toolpaths to speed the latter up, &/or machineable-wax tooling.
