Monitor for LTV-1200 and LTV 2 ventilators
LTV-_manual.pdfNeil,
Hope all is well, two things.
-
COVID-19 isn’t going away. Face masks and face shields aren’t going out of style (need) any time soon.

This is the difficult one. The gov’t purchased thousands of LTV-1200 and LTV-2 ventilators many of which were sent to Africa via US Aid. This device is a sophisticated portable ventilator but lacks the ability to display the graphic representation of pressure volume and flow. In the original device there was an add on monitor (LTM) which displayed these variables as well as alarms. This device was like a tablet that collected and displayed the data (pictures below). I copied Mike Lipnick here from WHO Technical advisory group. He and his group have reached out to Vyaire - to date with no real effect. Vyaire (the manufacturer) hasnt made any devices (the monitor) in nearly a decade.
We wondered - if the communication protocol were available- is this something one of the groups could reverse engineer? WHO has at least discussed providing some funds for this project.
