Simulation 2 Setup
Box Geometry
@zfredin and @alfonso, can you upload the latest model of the box? It would also help if you could provide a closed version as well (i.e. just patch all the holes). We use this to define a higher voxel resolution for the interior, and so we can track when particles leave.
Respiratory therapy device
I want to include a respiratory device, but there are a lot of details here to nail down.
First, the geometry. Is a nasal cannula what we should aim for? Or a mask? Obviously this will have a big impact on what happens when the patient coughs or sneezes.
Second, how does it interact with the patient's breathing and/or coughing/sneezing? Is it too simplistic to use a constant mass flux (i.e. velocity)? We could dynamically alter the mass flux to maintain a constant pressure, but this could require setting up more geometry of tubing etc. in order for the definition to make sense -- we need to know exactly which two points to compare.
Finally, should we establish a baseline simulation where the patient is breathing but not coughing? Or are we sufficiently convinced that coughing is strictly more likely to produce particle leakage?
