is neoprene okay for hospital use?
The framed design we'd like to move forward with uses a neoprene strap, a milled HDPE/acetal/PP frame, and a PETG shield. The latter two materials should be okay as they're nonporous and inert.
Is the neoprene strap okay in a hospital? Precedent exists in orthopedics for braces and such, but I'm not sure how that carries through to PPE.
